Dr. Joseph Talghader - CTO, Founder & Board of Directors Member | read full bio

In 1997, Dr. Talghader joined the University of Minnesota as an Assistant Professor, and he was recently promoted to Full Professor. He has been extensively involved in infrared and hyperspectral technologies, optical coatings materials science, and the miniaturization of optical systems. His group has demonstrated the first tunable multispectral thermal detectors and has seminal patent applications in this area. His infrared sensors research has been funded by DARPA and the Army Research Office (ARO).

Mr. Johnson has over 20 years of experience in the venture capital and investment banking industries, including 10 years at IBM's large mainframe division in engineering, sales, and sales management, three years in investment banking at Dain Bosworth, and 10 years as a senior officer and general partner at Norwest Venture Capital.  At Norwest Venture Capital, he made investments in and served on the boards of approximately 25 early-stage, high-tech companies. 

Jay Schrankler - Advisory Board Member

During his 26 years at Honeywell, Mr. Schrankler held key management and executive roles spanning the Aerospace Business to the Automation and Control Solutions business. After successfully leading Honeywell's $1.1B Global Environment Controls business as Vice President and General Manager he spent five years as the Vice President of Honeywell's Automation and Controls business ($13B in sales) Intellectual Property licensing and marketing business. He built this business from scratch by licensing Honeywell's technology as well as its renowned trademark. Mr. Schrankler is currently the Executive Director of the University of Minnesota's Office for Technology Commercialization.

John Goodrich - Advisory Board Member

Over the past eleven years John served as President and CEO of Infrared
Solutions, Inc. (ISI) and then as General Manager of Fluke Thermography
after ISI was acquired by Fluke. Infrared Solutions was a high-tech start-up
that designed, manufactured and sold infrared cameras for commercial
applications. The fundamental technology was developed for defense
applications. ISI successfully developed commercial designs and market
strategies that led to its acquisition by Fluke. The company has continued
to experience strong growth.
